This wedding was especially fun for me to shoot! Lindsey and Joel have become some of my closest friends. Lindsey was my roommate before the wedding, and I have to say: she and Joel have just about the most laid back approach to wedding planning! They were hardly stressed at all… seriously. They are now my next door neighbors, and it’s been so hard to keep editing and not running over to show them each shot I love more than the last.
They got married at the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania — a gorgeous museum with the awesome artwork and sculptures everywhere you look. Joel and Lindsey wanted to do a first look so they could spend as much time together as possible on their wedding day. I totally advocate for the first look — it’s one of my favorite things to photograph. Both Lindsey and Joel were excited and a little nervous too… but I absolutely love Joel’s reaction. Which oddly resembles Andy Dwyer from Parks and Rec… (Click on any photo to see it larger)
We were able to get a lot of fun portraits throughout the day — Lindsey and Joel are so much fun and never stop laughing. It’s a blast photographing them.
Love this wide shot captured by Mike, who second shot for me.
Another gorgeous capture from Mike:
And a few snaps from the end of the night to close us out. Plenty more to come soon!
Lindsey and Joel: I know I have said this a thousand times already, but I was so honored to capture your beautiful wedding day. I can’t wait to share the full gallery with you soon! Thanks for being such amazing friends and for always letting me Kramer my way into your apartment. You two are the best. Congratulations!
